Baise Travel Guide
Baise is located in the west of Guangxi on the border with Vietnam. It is an important hub for cross-border trade between China and Southeast Asia. Leaders of the Chinese Communist Party organized an uprising against the Nationalist government here in 1929. Major attractions include the Baise Uprising Memorial Park and the local ethnic minorities, which include the Zhuang, Yao, Miao, Yi, Gelao and Hui people. Other popular destinations include Dawangling Virgin Forest Scenic Area, Tongling Grand Canyon and Gulongshan Canyon.
