"Traveling through Baise on my trip to Yunnan, I saw Wyndham in my search results and it looked good, so I booked a king room to share with a friend. It was a bit quiet and empty when we checked in, but all the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and warm. It really brightened up my tiring journey! 😊 They even specifically gave us a room with a great view and location. The room itself was really spacious, and the bed was wide enough for two people to sleep comfortably, and super soft! There's an indoor heated pool and gym on the second floor, both free to use. The only downside is that there's no self-service laundry, but I heard the hotel is planning to add it. If I come back, I hope that service will be available – that would make it perfect! It's also very close to shopping areas. This place is great for a slow-paced, relaxing life. Highly recommend! 🥳"

"The hotel facilities are new and clean, making for a comfortable stay. The shower water was great, and I could even take a bath. However, the coffee and milk machines at breakfast were out of order, supposedly due to a burnt wire, and remained broken the next day. They could have easily set up a temporary power source, which shows a lack of service awareness! Hope they improve!"
The love of the mountains and rivers of Haokun Lake
"Shanshui Xianju is located in the Haokun Lake Scenic Area. The hotel has a superior geographical location. You can go to Fisherman's Wharf (cruise boat dock) from the lakeside plank road and the main traffic road in front of the hotel. You can also walk along the village road behind the hotel for about 15-20 minutes to reach the mountain plank road and lake plank road to enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain scenery. During the trip, I also observed the B&Bs along the lake. I feel that Shanshui Xianju should be the best B&B in terms of style, facilities, hygiene, food, etc. The tea served in the hotel rooms is very good. Of course, quality and price are directly proportional, and the room rates at Shanshui Xianju should be relatively high. If I have the chance to go there again, I will choose "Shanshui Xianju"."

"The hotel is very grand, with a spacious and bright lobby offering many different lounge areas. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. I especially liked the emergency button in the toilet, which was a thoughtful touch. I was very satisfied with the environment. For less than 300, this deluxe room offered incredible value for money, and I stayed for two nights. The only downsides were that the washing machines and dryers in the laundry room weren't commercial-grade, and even though we were on the 11th floor, there was still some street noise at night due to the hotel's downtown location."

"The hotel was well located right across from the People’s park. We had a wonderful view of the pond in the park. Rooms were clean and everything we needed. Breakfast was one of the best that we had while traveling in China. We also used the clothing washer and dryer that was available. 丽娟 greeted us with a smile on arrival and was very helpful with multiple requests. This hotel is very fortunate to have great employees like her. I know Trip.com rates this as a three star hotel, but it was better than the majority of the four star hotels we stayed at here in China."

"An okay hotel, nothing to write home about. I specifically booked it because it's close to the high-speed train station – you can literally just cross one road with your luggage to get there. Downstairs, there's a snack shop and tons of shared electric scooters. The room facilities are a bit dated and the space is quite small. The toilet seat slams down with a bang since it lacks a soft-close mechanism, which was a bit startling. Also, you need to be mindful of mosquitoes. Overall, it's just passable, but at least it offers good value for money."
