The Graph Hotel in Kuala Lumpur
Definitely a 10/10 hidden gem hotel!!! The photos speak for themselves.
Well priced for the quality provided. Located in Cheras, within walking distance to the MRT station. There’s a large mall opposite the hotel too.
There is an Anytime Fitness in the hotel which hotel guests have free access too. Also, a pickleball court is free for guests. Washing machines and dryers are available too. Pool table, communal fridge (no fridge in room, which is one of the only downsides of the hotel), cooking area and microwave available at Level 4.
A small cafe is located on the 4th floor serving bagels and drinks which opens early at 7.30am. At the lobby level, there’s a vending machine selling essentials like drinks & cup noodles. There’s a TV, tables and chairs for working & a foosball table available too.
The room itself is modern and clean. The toilet paper & towels provided are thick! The water pressure for the tap & shower is the strongest I have ever encountered in a long while. There were toothbrush, cotton buds & shower caps provided too. Coffee & tea and kettle with cups provided in the room as well.
Room and toilet is very spacious too. There’s a water dispenser for hot & cold water in the hotel corridor. Aircon was cold enough and not noisy. Blackout curtains in the room were great. Room was also your soundproof. The bed was slightly hard & firm but I’m ok with that.
Parking is 2RM per exit. Just validate parking by bringing T&G card to reception. Make sure to park in lots marked for hotel guests. The building also has a very delicious Chinese traditional dessert shop worth visiting! Take note that the hotel front desk closes at 1am if you’re coming to check in late.
Definitely can’t recommend this hotel enough! ❤️

Recently discovered a dim sum restaurant near the subway station.
This dim sum restaurant is located near the pedestrian bridge at Cheras Leisure Mall.
It's a dim sum restaurant with a nostalgic vibe.
Every corner is perfect for photos, especially the round table in the middle of the second floor.
The midday sun shining down from the skylight creates such a great atmosphere.
This dim sum restaurant isn't just great for photos; their dim sum is also quite good.
We ordered 9 dim sum dishes that day.
Photo 6: Crispy red rice noodle rolls with shrimp (the outer layer is slightly crispy, and the shrimp is fresh)
Photo 7: Cashew and beetroot millet balls (you can taste the aroma of cashews and millet in one bite; the flavors go really well together)
Photo 8: Secret recipe Hong Kong-style BBQ pork buns (the bun is fluffy and doesn't stick to your teeth, and the BBQ pork filling is slightly sweet, but the bun itself tastes a bit like the red steamed cakes used for offerings, which wasn't really for me)
Photo 9: Deep-fried taro dumplings (one bite gives you a crispy crust followed by the rich aroma of taro and the sweetness of the BBQ pork; it tastes just like the ones at the famous Penang dim sum shop Fu Er Dai—so fragrant)
Photo 10: Pumpkin and shrimp crystal dumplings (the skin of these crystal dumplings is truly thin with a thick filling; the combination of mixed vegetables and pumpkin bits gives it a nice texture, though I personally felt the pumpkin flavor wasn't very prominent—I couldn't really taste it)
Photo 11: Beancurd skin rolls in abalone sauce (the abalone sauce isn't too salty, and the filling is quite substantial)
Photo 12: Ah Hua's black garlic siu mai (a solid filling with a subtle black garlic aroma in every bite—really great 👍🏻)
Photo 13: Secret recipe steamed chicken feet (the "tiger skin" chicken feet are steamed until soft and tender; they fall right off the bone, and the sauce isn't salty)
Photo 14: Pan-fried Hong Kong-style radish cake (the outer layer is pan-fried to a slight crisp, and every bite is full of radish flavor)
