We chose the Guanshanfang, which has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking green hills and a pond. When we opened the windows, the sounds of birds and insects, along with a gentle breeze, filled the room – it was incredibly soothing. - Dining 🍽️ The hotel has an in-house restaurant that serves three meals a day. Breakfast is complimentary, while other meals are self-paid, costing around 100+ RMB per person. The menu offers a good variety, and considering we didn't have to leave the hotel, the food quality and price were acceptable. - Service The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Anything we needed could be delivered to our room, and they patiently answered our questions and offered guidance regarding travel advice and everyday queries. On busy weekends, things occasionally felt a bit rushed, likely because the hotel is relatively new and still finding its rhythm. - Getting Around For those who enjoy hiking and sightseeing, there's a mountain about 500m from the hotel suitable for trekking, with a temple at the summit. Additionally, about 10 kilometers away, you can access the Lunan Chuanzang Scenic Route for a scenic drive up to Zhaiji Mountain for some breathtaking views. My parents thoroughly enjoyed it. If you plan on exploring, driving is recommended. - Other Amenities The hotel features a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room. They also offer sound healing and handmade sachet workshops. Even if you don't venture out, there's enough to keep you occupied and entertained for at least a day within the hotel. I hope they'll add sports facilities like a badminton court in the future, which would surely attract even more guests. Overall, we were very happy we chose Daiaoshanju for this trip; it's definitely worth a visit.

Finally took the kids to check out the forest treehouse we've been dreaming of 🏡 Arrived in Lujiang just 1 hour after leaving Hefei. Escaping the city feels so good~ A treehouse hidden in the mountains, Like stepping into a fairytale world. Streams, meadows, and little animals— The kids went wild as soon as we arrived! 📝 Save these tips for your family trip 👇 There's a stream right below the treehouse. The homestay provides wading gear, but bring your own water guns and fishing nets for wading and fishing. Check-in includes a vegetable pack for feeding the animals; bring extra carrots for more fun interactions. The non-motorized playground has a sand pit; remember to bring sand toys. The homestay breakfast is hearty. For main meals, head to the farm restaurant opposite—the prices are reasonable. At night, drive to the area near Tangchi Middle School! The river light display is stunning, and the nearby snack street is delicious and affordable. ⚠️ There are many mosquitoes in the mountains; sunscreen and mosquito repellent are essential. Play in the water, feed the animals, and visit the playground during the day; stroll through the night market and enjoy the night view in the evening. Stayed in a room in the Lujiang mines, waking up to mountains and the sun

Didn't rush to any tourist spots during this trip to Lujiang. Spent the whole day lounging in the room, and surprisingly, I wasn't bored at all 🌿 The living room captured my heart the moment I opened the door. Dark green walls paired with warm orange cushions, with soft, gentle lighting. Sat by the window to daydream, looking out at the rolling mountains ⛰️ The bed faces the floor-to-ceiling glass, so the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes in the morning was the mountains. The bathroom has such a luxurious feel. Double vanity, marble walls, and the shower water pressure was incredibly comfortable 🚿 Just taking my time washing up in the room made me feel completely relaxed. Wandered over to the restaurant in the afternoon to sit for a while. Rattan chairs, a full wall of floor-to-ceiling glass, and sunlight streaming in at an angle. Ordered a drink and scrolled through my phone; time suddenly seemed to slow down ☕ The biggest surprise was the evening 🌇 The sky slowly turned a burning gold, spilling in through the window. I wore this dress for a photoshoot before the sunset at the mine

Stayed a night here in Zhongshan, Lujiang. I originally came for the hotel, but it turns out this place was practically made for photos 📸 First, what to wear 👇 I recommend light colors! White, pale yellow, and nude pink all look great in photos. I brought a pale yellow dress and stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window. With the sunset hitting from behind, I was glowing ☀️ At night, I went back to the room, changed into the bathrobe, and took another set of photos on the bed. (The hotel bathrobe is surprisingly high quality, so no need to bring your own.) Sharing a few photo spots with you: 1️⃣ Room floor-to-ceiling window: The half hour before sunset is the best. The mine is bathed in golden orange. Just standing by the window for a silhouette shot is enough—no need to show your face. 2️⃣ Balcony: The sun hangs right on the mountain peak, making for poster-worthy shots. 3️⃣ Indoor pool: The natural light from the skylight makes for very clean shots during the day. 4️⃣ Bathroom double vanity: They have a Dyson hair dryer, and the lighting is clean, which is perfect for OOTD detail shots. The room itself is also very photogenic. With a wood veneer headboard and the bed facing the mountain view, just turn on the warm lights at night and every shot looks like a hotel promo video 🏔️ One reminder: The sunset is very short—it's gone in about 20 minutes. Get into position early, brighten your camera settings, and wear light colors. Don't wear dark colors, or you'll be swallowed up by the mine 🌚 For those of you coming just for the photos, this trip is totally worth it 💛

Moonlight over the lotus pond near Hefei! A relaxing hot spring getaway

Drove to Lujiang with friends this weekend and discovered a hidden gem of a homestay. Lujiang truly lives up to its reputation as Hefei's backyard—it's just a 1-hour drive from the city center. At Xidi Aranya, there's a vast lotus pond right at the entrance. Staying amidst the greenery is so comfortable! We stayed in a room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lotus pond. There's an infinity pool downstairs, which is perfect for photos. Every room comes with a private hot spring, so it's really relaxing to soak at night~ Their buffet breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options and is delicious. For lunch and dinner, you can choose from Japanese-style hot pot or local dishes—everything is tasty. It's perfect for couples' dates, girls' trips, or family vacations. Plus, if you're driving, you can stop by nearby streams for some water play.

West Lake

My second visit to West Lake was great; the boat tour was excellent. The dock was easy to find, the staff were very friendly, provided clear explanations, and helped with any issues. There were also sightseeing buses, which were nice but a bit pricey. Taking the boat tour and then walking around was both perfectly fine.
