After three days of non-stop searching, they finally found it in the factory of the linen cleaning company and delivered it back to the lady at the front desk of the hotel in time. After adding WeChat for confirmation, they handed it to the SF Express courier to send it back to us. The child was really happy when she saw her teddy bear was found. We had almost no hope, they were really caring and made our family feel very warm. Recommended to everyone, this is a very warm hotel! Xierunze: The room facilities were complete and well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable and soft, which was excellent. The service was warm and attentive. The owner helped us upgrade our room and even brought our luggage and suitcases to the room, which was a great experience. The room was clean and spotless. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I pass through Mojiang. Breakfast is healthier, and the staff are very welcoming.

Even more surprising was the view outside our window: a lush botanical garden that made us feel like we were in a tropical rainforest. Bring your kids here, and every day will be awakened by the aroma of tea and coffee. 🌅 Day 1: First Encounter with Tea Aroma, Slow Time on the Tea Horse Road Nakeli Tea Horse Post Station is truly perfect for families with kids! It's a free 4A-rated scenic area, where the entire village retains the style of horse caravans from a century ago. Bluestone paths, wind-and-rain bridges, and the Rongfa Horse Inn – every spot feels like traveling back to ancient times. Kids can experience unique woodblock printing and plant dyeing handicrafts here, or sit by the stream, splash in the water, and play with stones. You don't need to supervise at all; they can play all afternoon by themselves. For lunch, we ate at the Horse Caravan Restaurant in the village. You absolutely must try Lei Xiang Tea; the teapot sizzles on the fire, and the tea poured out has an intoxicating aroma. The Bean Soup Rice Noodles are 9 RMB a bowl; the pink rice noodles with a bean soup base were so good that the kids couldn't get enough, even after two bowls. In the afternoon, we visited the China Pu'er Tea Expo Garden. The all-inclusive ticket is 80 RMB, including a round-trip electric car. With tea plantations covering the mountains, kids can personally pick tea, make tea, and finally taste a cup of Pu'er tea they made themselves. Standing on the observation deck overlooking ten thousand acres of tea plantations, when the wind blows, the aroma of tea wafts over you. That healing feeling is truly indescribable. 🎯 Day 2: Forest Adventure, Befriend Red Pandas Sun River National Forest Park is definitely the ultimate parent-child destination in Pu'er! The package ticket is 135 RMB, including admission and a round-trip electric car. We recommend entering before 9 AM when there are fewer people and the animals are more active. The red pandas here are incredibly friendly; for 20 RMB, you can buy apple strips and feed them up close. The fluffy little guys will climb onto your lap to eat, making the kids scream with excitement and not want to leave. Besides red pandas, you can also see rhinos, gibbons, and various birds. With a forest coverage rate of 94.5%, walking through it feels like stepping into the rainforest world of Avatar. "Flying Through the Jungle" is 162 RMB per person; older kids can challenge themselves to this thrilling experience of soaring through the treetops. At night, you can stay at the Little Panda Manor. Open the door, and you're in the forest. Fall asleep to the sound of insects and wake up to birdsong in the morning. With a 40 RMB ticket, kids can experience stepping across the tropical and temperate zones, make wishes at the Twin Wells, and take the 70 RMB round-trip "Flying Magic Carpet" to reach the summit without climbing, which is very friendly for families with kids. This 4-day, 3-night "Winter Warmth and Blooming Flowers: Kunming and Yuxi Yunnan" off-the-beaten-path itinerary will give you an advanced Yunnan experience. Itinerary: (Kunming Round Trip) Dongchuan → Kunming → Yuxi → Yuanjiang, Yuxi – A warm, non-retrograde loop. First Stop: Dongchuan - Earth's Palette 【Beautiful Countryside】Arrive before noon; consider it an appetizer before visiting the red soil area. 【Old Dragon Tree】Standing alone on a hillside, it died for three years but came back to life. Now, it's lush and vibrant. Locals pray by circling the tree three times clockwise. 【Luoxia Valley】Best for photos at sunrise or sunset when the light and shadow fall on the valley. [Nanping Pedestrian Street] On the day I visited, there was a performance and market showcasing intangible cultural heritage for the Chinese New Year (January 30th - February 1st). Besides interactive activities, many internet celebrities were invited to liven up the atmosphere, such as the famous Yunnan Bigbang. The Yunnan Baiyao exhibition area was interesting, and almost all experiences were free. [Dounan Flower Market] Asia's largest flower market. The view of the entire market from the third-floor elevator is breathtaking. It opens at 8:40 PM for bulk trading, but also offers retail. The third floor is a small commodity market. [Dongfengba Seven-Arch Floating Bridge] Primarily for its scenery, the sunset is absolutely stunning. There are more seagulls around 3 PM, but they all fly away after 5 PM. [Guandu Ancient Town] I recommend the [Yunzi Museum]. Behind the museum are production factories, but they are generally not open to the public. 【Wu Tong Zou Yin】, known as one of the "Two Wonders of Copper Art" alongside cloisonné, offers guided tours by intangible cultural heritage instructors. Even the cheapest pieces cost several thousand yuan! Tips: Locals also highly recommend the Daguan Zhuanxin Farmers Market. Mojiang Confucian Temple is a large-scale and relatively well-preserved Confucian temple complex in southern Yunnan. Generally speaking, it is well-preserved. I recommend starting your hike from Xishan Park, then taking the cable car from the Longmen Grottoes entrance to Haigeng Dam. (The reverse route, starting from Haigeng Dam, is easier and I suggest going in the morning.) I don't recommend visiting the Longmen Grottoes.

This guided tour of the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was absolutely fantastic! It deserves a five-star rating! Our group of six signed up for the 10:10 session. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, providing detailed and patient explanations. The guide spoke gently and clearly, without rushing the itinerary. The content was lively and engaging, explaining the stories and characteristics of various tropical plants in the garden. Many plants that I wouldn't normally understand became clear after the explanation. The guide maintained a good pace throughout, ensuring everyone in the group was taken care of, and answering questions diligently without being perfunctory. Combined with the West Zone shuttle bus, the overall trip was very comfortable, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the charm of the tropical botanical garden. I highly recommend choosing a package with a guided tour. It's difficult to understand a botanical garden on your own; a professional guide significantly enhances the experience. I would definitely choose this guide again next time! Highly recommended!
