Walking along the riverside promenade in this foreign city, I truly felt the poetic scene of "Spring tides bring rain, rushing in the evening; at the deserted ferry, the boat lies adrift." The wide river flowed slowly through the city center, a few white water birds skimmed lightly across the surface, and the weeping willows on the bank swayed gently in the wind, their branches creating ripples on the water. A few young people sat on the steps by the bank playing guitar, the melodious tunes drifting far on the wind. Cyclists waved and laughed as they passed by on the bike path, their helmets adorned with various cute stickers. I casually strolled into an open-air café by the river. In the pavilion, order a chilled specialty drink, sit under a parasol and watch the people come and go. Some stroll hand in hand with their partners, others push strollers and chat quietly with their families, and a few children fly kites on the lawn by the river. The colorful kites soar high in the blue sky until the setting sun dyes the water a vibrant orange-red. The lights along the riverbank gradually illuminate, their warm yellow glow reflected on the flowing water, creating countless gentle ripples.
