Once in Hokkaido, the "beautiful lake view" on the life list immediately took another photo! This time I went to Lake Toya Town and stayed at the Toya Onsen Gorgeous Hotel on the lakeside. Facing Lake Toya, the shining lake water matched the blue sunny day. 🤍 Toyakocho is not only a photo spot, from the hot springs, fireworks to the lakeside walk, the whole process is slow life and healing, truly a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle, returning to purity. You don't necessarily have to arrange your trip very negotiably, but instead, you will find more charming little surprises when you wander at will. 🌊 Trip Highlights Selection 1. The natural scenery of Lake Toya One of Hokkaido's few natural treasures. The lake is transparent to the bottom, surrounded by high mountains. When the weather is good, the blue sky and white clouds are reflected, and the lake surface is like a mirror. When you walk to the lakeside, you might as well follow my example and take a picture of the "wooden sign sign" to keep your own happiness angle. 📍Address: Lake Toya, Hokkaido, Japan ⏰ Opening hours: all day year round 2. Lake view accommodation at Toya Onsen Gorgeous Hotel The location of the hotel is excellent, stepping out of the room immediately able to overlook the entire Toya Lake. Night is the best location to see the fireworks (summer only), outside the hotel there is a lakeside walkway, suitable for morning exercise or quiet chill. There is no need to worry about hot springs inside and outside the hotel, outdoor hot springs are especially recommended, in winter while watching the white smoke on the lake, super healing. 📍Address: 6 Toyakoonsen, Lake Toyacho 🔥Features: Lake view room, fireworks viewing spot, convenience store and restaurant within easy reach 3. Roaming around the periphery is easy Showa Shinsan: Feel the volcanic landscape, accessible by bus from the hotel, round trip time friendly, by the way. Lakeside activities: Sometimes there will be a ski boat or bicycle rental, riding around the lake is super comfortable. Night Fireworks (April ~ October): Starting at 20:45 every night, the hotel room or terrace is the best spot to watch. ✨【Practical Tips】 · Stay at Toya Onsen Huamei Hotel is recommended to choose a lake view room, sunset / sunrise is excellent, but some rooms will have odor or insect problems, it is recommended to contact the front desk before check in, appropriately request room transfer. · Hotel dining options are more common, if food is the focus please consider the surrounding restaurants (five minutes walk with convenience store and several canteens), especially recommend the handmade dessert shop by the lakeside. · The bus stop is right near the hotel, there are regular buses to JR Toyako Station, after getting off the transportation is super convenient, no need to worry about moving luggage. · Remember to bring your own towel and shower cap when bathing. It is most comfortable to soak in the morning and evening when there are few people. · Photography advice: the lake color is the clearest during the daytime, the dusk backlight silhouette is super romantic. 🚖Traffic Advice From New Chitose Airport, take the JR to Lake Toya Station, about 2 hours; If you drive by car, the entire circle of Lake Toya is more than 2 hours relaxed, and you will not get tired of taking pictures of the scenery along the way! 🍱 Recommended food · Lakeside dessert—We recommend trying local milk ice cream and Hokkaido cheesecake. · The Toyakocho Market has snack stalls such as grilled corn and octopus rolls, which are perfect for eating on the go. · The hotel breakfast focuses on Japanese and Western buffets, you can consider choosing only breakfast options, free movement lunch and dinner options more. 🌟 Summary Come to Toyako-cho to experience the true healing journey and simply relax and feel a moment of happiness.
