"It's a great B&B-style hotel. The grandmother with great skin gave me a lake view room with a small living room. I arrived early because it was raining and was allowed to stay. The dinner that comes with the one-night stay and two-meals package is very delicious. The miso soup with small scallops is super fresh, and the venison stewed in red wine is also very tender and has no fishy smell. When I left the next day, I asked my grandma for a big garbage bag to pack my luggage, and I rode all the way to Hakodate without getting it wet."

The set french dinner and Japanese dinner is astonishing, comparable to Michelin star level in our opinion. The staff are super friendly and caring, even though we need google translate at times, they still provided the best service I have ever experienced. The inroom onsen is perfect for family and the toys and tree house in the one and only family room made my kids so happy everyday!"

"I was able to reserve a shuttle bus from Sapporo Station to Manseikaku Hotel for 1,100 yen. It's a 30-minute walk from the hotel entrance to the hotel, so I recommend using a car or taxi app if possible. The interior of the hotel was spacious and clean (though the kitchen utensils could use a little more attention to cleanliness). The onsen on the second floor was particularly large, making it a great place to visit with friends!"
