Gouda, located in the province of South Holland, nestled between Rotterdam and Utrecht, has a population of approximately 75,000 and is a renowned historical and cultural city in the Netherlands. Gouda is most famous for its Gouda cheese, named after the city itself. Since the Middle Ages, it has been an important cheese trading center, and its traditional cheese market still attracts many tourists. The Gothic City Hall in the city center, built in the 15th century, is one of the most distinctive historical city halls in the Netherlands. St. John's Church is famous for its exquisite 16th-century stained-glass windows, known as "Gouda Glass." Furthermore, the canals, old houses, and small bridges of the old town are full of traditional Dutch charm.

Amersfoort is a historic city in the province of Utrecht in the central Netherlands, located between Amsterdam and Utrecht, with a population of approximately 158,000. Its history dates back to the 11th century, and it gained city rights in the 13th century, gradually developing during the Middle Ages due to textiles, brewing, and trade. The old town still retains its complete medieval city layout, along with numerous historical buildings and canal landscapes. The Koppelpoort, built in the 15th century, is one of the few well-preserved medieval amphibious city gates in the Netherlands, used for both land defense and waterway control. It is Amersfoort's most representative historical building and is considered a model of the Dutch medieval defensive system. The Our Lady Tower, approximately 98 meters high, is one of the tallest medieval church towers in the Netherlands and a landmark of the city. Climbing to the top offers panoramic views of the old town and surrounding area. The Freit Museum, located within the historic buildings, primarily showcases the history, art, and cultural development of the Amersfoort region.
