GGuest User: A Wonderful Stay at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel We recently stayed in the Windsor House section of the hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness stood out immediately — everything from the bed to the bathroom was spotless, making it feel like a true home away from home. It’s rare to feel so comfortable using hotel facilities without hesitation, but this room was truly impeccable. The location is ideal — just by the riverside and within easy walking distance of Windsor & Eton Riverside Station, Côte Brasserie, and the boat tours. Windsor Castle is only a pleasant 15-minute walk away, making it perfect for sightseeing. The service throughout our stay was excellent. From the warm welcome at reception to the helpful and friendly cleaning staff, every interaction felt genuinely caring and professional. Our stay included breakfast, which was a generous British buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold options, including pastries, fresh fruit, and more. There were plenty of drink choices with refills available, and the coffee was lovely — a great way to start the day. In conclusion, we highly recommend the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel. We were extremely pleased with our experience and will definitely be returning in the future.

GGuest User: The hotel is very close to train station and the palace. The room was bigger than I imagined. The breakfast was nice. We had one hicup at the checkin as the staff including their booking center couldn't find my booking. Not quite sure whether it was the false of the hotel or Trip.com. Staff was nice, he suggested us places to go.

GGuest User: Central hotel. Location to Windsor so convenient and has parking if you book in advance. Breakfast choice was wonderful. I really enjoyed this. Coffee let it down as I'm not fussed on a caffitier. The double Bed was super comfy. Room was a little hot but that's because we didn't switch on the air con. However we did eat in there restaurant and I really enjoyed my food. Free complimentary drink (of your choice) on arrival. Complimentary bottle of Water in the room. Quality tea and coffee facilities in the room.

GGuest User: The check-in process of this hotel is a bit troublesome. You have to contact by email to get the instructions to enter, which is inconvenient. However, the cleanliness of the room is satisfactory, which makes the stay comfortable. However, after using the bathtub, my skin felt uncomfortable, which may be related to the water quality or detergent. The service staff is friendly and willing to help at any time, which is a plus. Overall, despite the cumbersome check-in process and the problem with the bathtub, the overall environment and service are still pleasant. If these minor problems can be improved, it will be a better choice.

GGuest User: Accommodation in the local bar. The bar downstairs is in the direction of Eton in Windsor. It is very quiet. The bed is suitable for two people. There is no elevator. The wooden stairs are relatively narrow and retro. milk. A very quiet town and more comfortable than London ~ 10 minutes walk from the train station. Dinner in many bars is very good👍

There's more to the UK than just London. Drive north, and the scenery on both sides of the road changes. 🏔️ Scottish Highlands The Highlands are the largest wilderness in the UK. As you drive along, you'll see black valleys, deep blue lakes, and flocks of sheep on the hillsides. Loch Ness lies in the middle of the valley. Its water is black, and legend has it that something lives at the bottom. The wind blows across the open land, and standing on the edge of a cliff, you'll suddenly feel a sense of calm. 🥃 Have a glass of whiskey The Highlands are known for whiskey. Visit an old distillery to see the stills, smell the peat, and taste a glass poured straight from an oak cask. The distillery staff will tell you which mountain spring the water comes from and what kind of spirit was previously stored in the oak cask. Whiskey is all about its origin. Even on the same island, different distilleries produce different flavors. 🏰 Windsor Castle, where the Queen lived for decades Just a half-hour drive west of London is Windsor Castle. It is the largest inhabited castle in the world, and the Queen lived here on weekends during her lifetime. With its Round Tower, Changing of the Guard, and St. George's Chapel, walking inside feels like stepping into a fairy tale. 🎓 Oxford and Cambridge, universities without walls These university towns have no gates. The entire town is the campus. In Cambridge, pole a punt along the River Cam, with centuries-old colleges and the Bridge of Sighs on both banks. At Christ Church College in Oxford, you'll find the dining hall where "Harry Potter" was filmed. 🏔️ Further north, there's Scotland Edinburgh Castle, the wilderness of the Highlands, and the legend of the Loch Ness Monster. Scotland and England have two distinct characters. The UK is not in a rush. It's a place that lets you slow down, hop on a train, and take your time to see it all. ✨ Tap the product card below to view the full itinerary Flagship Store

🇬🇧 ZONE 02 — SOUTH EAST ENGLAND Southeast England | Sea, Castles, Old Towns, and English Villages If you're looking for a more "classic England" experience outside of London, the South East region is a great option. 🏰🌊 It offers historical cities, beautiful coastlines, castles, old villages, and vineyards, especially Kent and Sussex, renowned for their coastal routes and local wines. 📍 Must-Visit Places 👑 Windsor — Old town and Windsor Castle, perfect for those interested in royal history. 🏛️ Oxford — An ancient university city with a classic atmosphere, great for strolling. 🌊 Brighton — A vibrant seaside city with beaches, piers, restaurants, and trendy neighborhoods. ⛪ Canterbury — A historic city with Canterbury Cathedral as a highlight. 🤍 White Cliffs of Dover — White chalk cliffs overlooking the English Channel. Stunning sea views and one of Kent's most iconic landmarks: 🌿 Seven Sisters – Chalk cliffs by the sea perfect for scenic walks and photos. 🏘️ Rye – A small town with old streets, beautiful houses, and a nostalgic English atmosphere. 🏰 Bodiam Castle – A medieval castle surrounded by a moat, giving off a fairytale vibe. 🏰 🍇 Kent & Sussex Vineyards – Another hidden gem of England, with interesting wine production areas that many may not know about. 🚆 How to get there? A major advantage of the South East is its relatively convenient access from London, especially Windsor, Brighton, Canterbury, and other cities along the train lines. However, natural attractions like Seven Sisters or some castles may require bus or car travel. 🚆🚗 🌸 Best time to visit: April–June 🌷 Ideal for city walks and garden visits. July–August ☀️ Great for coastal areas and seaside towns, but usually crowded. September–October 🍂 Cooler weather, perfect for leisurely strolls. And it's a time when the countryside is incredibly beautiful. November–December ✨ Many old towns start to get into the Christmas spirit. 💡 Tip: Don't try to visit the entire South East region in one trip. 😄 We recommend dividing it into Kent / Sussex / Oxfordshire / Windsor and choosing to travel in groups. This will save travel time and allow you to travel without getting too tired. Recommended number of days: Approximately 4–6 days if you want to experience the old towns, coast, and nature without rushing. #SouthEastEngland #TravelEngland #EnglandTravel #UKTravel

If England has a fairy tale, it must be hidden in Windsor Castle. This is the largest and oldest castle in the world, not only the official residence of the current king but also a place that condenses 900 years of British history. From William the Conqueror to Charles III, every brick holds the secrets of the dynasty. Entering the castle is like opening a thick history book. Medieval stone walls, Gothic spires, magnificent state apartments... every detail takes your breath away. What moves me the most is St. George's Chapel. This Gothic building is unreal in its beauty, with stained glass windows shining brilliantly in the sunlight. In 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan held their royal wedding here! Imagine walking down the same aisle, stepping into a fairy-tale love story... Standing on the Round Tower overlooking the entire town of Windsor, the Thames River winds through lush greenery. If you see the royal flag flying above the castle, it means the king is "at home" today. Windsor is not just a castle; it is living British history. When you come to England, don’t miss this place. 🖊️Useful Tips: 🚗 About a 30-minute train ride from London Paddington 🎫 It’s recommended to buy tickets online in advance to avoid weekends 🚶 Allow at least 3-4 hours for your visit ⚠️ No photography inside the castle, but feel free to take pictures of the exterior

From Bray to Windsor A quiet morning on the Thames. As we boarded the cruise ship, the world along the banks was gradually enveloped in mist, a thin veil of fog gently merging the river and sky. At this moment, time seemed to stretch out, and the pace slowed. The ship served us classic English tea, aromatic coffee, and delicate pastries, each sip a subtle warmth, each cup of tea seemed specially brewed for this stretch of water. English scones with jam and rich cream, felt natural and just right in the misty morning. The cruise ship slowly broke through the mist, departing from Bray along the river, and heading downstream, the only visible sights were the tranquil water and the occasional glimpse of the riverbank scenery. In the distance, the shadows of dense riverside trees were faintly visible, closer up, small bridges, embankments, and the soft chirping of waterbirds quietly emerged. As we approached Windsor, the mist slowly dissipated, and many elegant swans appeared on the river, standing still, gliding, as if applauding our approaching boat. At that moment, we couldn't help but stop to take pictures; the scene almost seemed unreal—soft light, water, white feathers, and the silhouette of the castle in the distance. Upon reaching the banks of Windsor Castle, the sky finally cleared, azure spread across the horizon, and sunlight streamed onto the ancient stone walls. The castle stood majestic and serene, overlooking the river, and we strolled along the banks, taking photos, capturing every ray of light and shadow. Between the stone walls, spires, and blue sky, time seemed to slow down. This was more than just a trip. It was a rhythm woven together by water, an experience of moving from mist to sunshine, a way of wandering imbued with English elegance and natural purity. This Thames River cruise experience wasn't about going to a specific destination—it was about slowing down your mind during the journey and letting the wind, light, and water define the day.

If you're near Windsor, The Hinds Head is the kind of place worth making a special reservation for. It's located in the town of Bray, not far from Windsor Castle. The building houses the restaurant, dating back to the 15th century. Dark timber beams, low ceilings, fireplaces, and an old-fashioned pub counter—everything is distinctly English, yet not contrived—not an "artificially designed sense of history," but rather a quality that has been slowly cultivated. As a Michelin-starred restaurant, The Hinds Head retains the relaxed feel of a traditional English pub. The chef's background is in Heston Blumenthal, but the restaurant doesn't focus on flashy techniques; instead, it reinterprets classic English cuisine, refining and deepening its flavors. Overall, a very good experience, highly recommended!

İngiltere'nin Berkshire bölgesinde yer alan Windsor Castle (Windsor Kalesi), 900 yılı aşkın süredir İngiliz kraliyet ailesinin resmi konutu olan dünyanın en eski ve en büyük yerleşimli kalesidir. Muhteşem devlet daireleri, tarihi St. George Şapeli ve görkemli mimarisiyle krallık tarihini yakından hissetmek için İngiltere'deki en büyüleyici kültürel duraklardan biridir!
NemozaTickets were issued quickly and the price was reasonable. A must-do for LEGO fans! You can take the 702 direct bus from Victoria Bus Station 7 for three pounds. The two-hour journey includes onboard charging stations and Wi-Fi. This bus also stops at Windsor Castle, so you can head there first.
AngelWong2010A must-visit chapel in Windsor Castle, which is included in the entrance ticket of Windsor Castle. It is managed by the church. The chapel is very high and well maintained. You can refer to and get relevant information on the audio guide. But taking pictures inside is not allowed. So I bought a 2018 edition of "The Biography of Queen Victoria" in its gift department as a souvenir. I also took a photo of its promotional photo in the "Castle Introduction" at the entrance when entering the castle, and also took a postcard of it.
铁木儿爸爸Beautiful garden in the autumn seasons where you can see ducks and squirrels around. Beautiful gardens in a huge garden. The Japanese gate was iconic. And the Chinese tower was iconic too.
Anonymous userHaving visited the Harry Potter studios in Tokyo before, I was familiar with the earlier parts. The difference was that the London studio included an exhibit on Gringotts Castle, and during our visit, there were some Death Eater performances, which were quite entertaining. Finally, the entire Hogwarts Castle wasn't just an exhibit; it also featured a light and shadow show. If I were to personally recommend visiting the Harry Potter studios for the first time, I'd suggest going to London. Firstly, the language is more familiar to Chinese people, and secondly, there's more interaction. Also, in terms of transportation, it's a 20-minute walk from Uston Station to Watford Junction Station, where there's a free shuttle bus to the studios, which is very convenient.
卡罗尔Strolling through the town of Eton, Eton College stands quietly across the river from Windsor Castle. Founded by Henry VI in 1440, this school's weathered stone walls bear witness to six centuries of history. The towering, solemn Gothic chapel, with its hurried young boys in black tailcoats, evokes the Victorian era. Twenty British Prime Ministers have graduated from here; Shelley and Keynes both studied here, and every brick and stone is imbued with the essence of elite education.
