Cibi Lake is located in the northeast of Eryuan County, about 3 kilometers away from Eryuan County, 73 kilometers north of Dali, and 58 kilometers south of Jianchuan Shibao Mountain Scenic Area. It is the main lake in the source of Erhai Lake, with a lake area of 8.46 square kilometers and a total length of 17 kilometers of shoreline. Chibi Lake, also known as Ninghu Lake, is named after Chibi flowers that grow in the lake. Chibi flowers belong to the water lily family.
