Photos of Gaya Island

Gaya Island is an island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park. The entire island is covered by pristine rainforest and the mangroves are well preserved. The island has a few kilometers of white sandy beaches, the water is clear and transparent, and there are coral reefs and colorful fish on the sea floor, which is ideal for diving. There are lively water villages in the bay at the eastern end of the island. These Filipino immigrants live in narrow shacks. You can take a tour via boat.
