Photos of Mount Nannuo

Mount Nannuo is located in Menghai County, Xishuang Banna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is a famous tea production region. Mount Nannuo is occupied predominantly by the Hani people and is divided into nine natural villages such as Zhulin Village, Guniang Village and Banpo Village. It is an important raw material source for premium Pu'er tea. According to legends, Mount Nannuo is also called Mount Kongming; the name derives from the belief that Zhu Geliang had put his cane into the ground and the cane had turned into a tea tree.
