Photos of Zhenfeng Tower

The Zhenfeng Tower is located at the west foot of Fengchuiling Ling, 1 km northeast of Zhelin Town, Raoping County. The Distressed Forest is located on the seashore and has been repeatedly harmed by wind and tides. In the past, people built towers at the tuyere where the wind was blowing all the year round. It was named after the wind and water. It was built in February in the 13th year of Yuan Zhizheng (1353). The tower is 22 meters high, with a base circumference of 16 meters. It has seven floors and eight sides. The pagoda corridor is also equipped with stone railings, and round windows and arches are opened on each floor, allowing visitors to step out of the pagoda corridor to view the mountains. In 1985, the Provincial Cultural Affairs Commission allocated funds for maintenance. In June 1989, it was listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit.
