Moscow Christ Savior Cathedral (Храм Христа Спасителя) located on the west bank of the Moscow River, originally built to commemorate the victory of Russia in 1812 over the Napoleonic Wars, completed the design in 1831, and laid the foundation eight years later. It is a memorial building with religious and historic heritage. It is the largest Orthodox church in Russia and can accommodate 10,000 people at the same time.
