Dahstein Mountain was in Upper Traun. I went at the end of May. The snow was very thick and the sunshine was sufficient. I wondered why the snow was not covered. The big ice cave was very cold and the ground was wet. The icicles in the ice cave were like stalactites, up to 10 meters high. The entire trip to the ice cave attraction is 50 minutes, and about ten people are equipped with a guide to explain the origin of the ice cave, development and so on.

3/5AverageThe ice in the Dachstein Rieseneishöhle is no more than 500 years old, and forms an 'ice mountain'.It is also known as Dachstein Giant ice cave. It is awesome. But well, i have no idea why. Perhaps i missed something.
