Dali Christian Church Review

Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture Christian Church is located at No. 15 Jianshe West Road, Dali City, Yunnan Province, at the north gate of Tianbao Park, founded in 1904, then known as the "Chinese Christian Chapel", and changed to "Dali Christian Church" in 2004. The main structure of the church is civil structure, four-skimmed water tile roof, maintaining the style of the European church, and has strong Bai architectural characteristics, is a combination of Chinese and Western church.

The Christian church was built in the Qing Dynasty, with the traditional Bai architecture as the main style, while integrating some Western architectural elements, the two are perfectly combined. The church is quiet and hardly visited by tourists.

Dali Christian Church, near the north gate of Dali Ancient City, a small bungalow building, the door faces south, the fence on the window is more distinctive, and the density is large. It was not a weekend when I went, and there was no one in the morning.

The church is at the entrance of a branch road in the direction of the north gate of the ancient city of Dali. One wall of the church is on the main road of Renmin Road in the ancient city. It is very quiet to enter the branch road. The church building is classical, Western and stylish. The red cross stands on the roof, which is very eye-catching against the blue sky. In addition to faith, it is also a good place to visit and learn Dali history, Chinese and Western culture.
