The Hongfota is unique in shape. It is a three-story octagonal pavilion and cladding complex built with a unique shape and is a rare ancient tower in China. It was rated as one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in the country in 1990. In 2013, it was rated as a national cultural relics protection unit.

5/5OutstandingOriginal TextStanding in the field, Xixia Ancient Tower – Hongfo Tower. In Helan County, Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, an ancient building is very distinctive. Typical Xixia architecture, now protected well, no tickets.
