Jiuzhaigou: World Natural Heritage Site, National Key Scenic Spots, National AAAAA-level Tourist Scenic Spots, National Nature Reserves, National Geoparks, World Biosphere Reserve Network, is the first nature reserve in China with the main purpose of protecting natural scenery. Jiuzhaigou is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Located in the transition zone from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the western Sichuan Plateau and the mountainous area to the Sichuan Basin, more than 300 kilometers south of Chengdu, it is a valley with a depth of more than 50 kilometers, with a total area of 64,297 hectares and forest coverage of more than 80%. Because there are nine Tibetan villages in the ditch, such as Shuzhengzhai, Heyezhai, and Chawazhai, it is named Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve. The main protection objects are rare animals such as giant pandas and golden monkeys and their natural ecological environment. There are 74 kinds of rare plants protected by the state, 18 kinds of animals protected by the state, and there are rich paleobiological fossils and ancient glacier landforms. "Jiuzhai returns without looking at the water" is a true interpretation of the scenery of Jiuzhaigou. 108 sea seeds from springs, waterfalls, rivers and beaches constitute colorful Dianchi Yupots. Changhai, Jianyan, Nuorilang, Shuzheng, Zharu, Black Sea six landscapes, in the shape of "Y". Cuihai, stack waterfall, color forest, snow peak, Tibetan love, blue ice, known as "Six Musts". The magical Jiuzhai, known as "fairy world", known as "the king of waterscape". From August 9, 2017, due to the impact of the earthquake, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area will stop receiving tourists. On September 27, 2019, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area will open for individual visitors. From November 28, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area will be open to individual visitors. From August 18, 2020, the road will be blocked due to continued heavy rainfall, and the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area will be temporarily closed. The scenic spot will open on August 22.
