Lingqu, anciently known as Qin Drilling Canal, Zero Canal, Douhe River, Xing'an Canal, Xianggui Canal, is a great project created by the ancient Chinese working people. Located in Xing'an County, Guangxi, it was cut into navigation in 214 BC. The flow from east to west, linking the ocean river (the source of the Xiangjiang River, the flow from south to north) to the west of Xing'an County and the Darong River (the source of the Lijiang River, the flow from north to south) to the west of Xing'an County, is one of the oldest canals in the world, with the reputation of "the pearl of the world's ancient water conservancy architecture". The opening of Lingqu opened the north-south water passage, providing a guarantee for the Qin Dynasty to unify Lingnan. In the year of the navigation, Qin soldiers conquered Lingnan and officially included it in the map of the Qin Dynasty. Lingqu still plays an important role to date.
