The ancient city of Mardin was built on the hillside, and the houses were typical. They were all built of stone, so they were called Shitou City. The top of the mountain was an old castle that had been damaged, only the cliff wall was left, and the most conspicuous place was planted with the Turkish flag, which was condescending and overlooking the entire plain. Martin is located in Turkey’s southeast, very close to northern Syria, with a large population of Kurds, and the remaining few being Turks and refugees who have fled overland from Syria.
