Murney Tower Museum National Historic Site of Canada Review

There are only two tourist core areas in Kingston, one is downtown with City Hall as the center, with Kingston sign nearby, and the other is Queens University in the suburbs, which takes half a day to travel

The building was built in 1846 as part of the Imperial government's naval fortifications at Kingston Port during the Oregon crisis in 1845-46, one of the last fortifications built by the British in the North American colony. As a regular military barracks, it was not fully armed until 1862, but after 1849, it became obsolete due to the rapid development of offensive military technology.

追逐历史的印记——Murney Tower National Historic Site 我因为一部电影而来到金斯顿，并对马泰罗塔产生了浓厚的兴趣。金斯顿每座塔都各具特色, Murney Tower National Historic Site离海滨公园非常的近，而且可以在这里观看国旗。防御塔加农炮我们漫步在国王大道，往西面步行十来分钟，就来到遗址公园。在海边这个地方非常有趣，周围的环境很好。海边设有专门的步道，大家游玩累了，就可以坐在长椅休息并好好欣赏风景一番。我们四处游览的时候，会发现这里有一座塔，白墙与红砖相砌而成，塔顶是尖尖哒。进去看看只要5美元的门票，这座塔让大家了解以前的加拿大是如何进行防御的。防御塔一共有三层，在最高的一层，你可以看到炮台还可以看到许多美景。这里的种种都带有历史的印迹，加农炮在当时也是使用过的，这座小塔是为当地居民居而设计的。这是一个值得一看的地方这里的员工很友好。温馨提示：1.可以自驾游，塔附近就有停车场2.海滨非常适合拍照，记得凹好造型，带相机。

前往莫尔尼塔国家历史遗址（ Murney Tower National Historic Site）。莫尔尼塔曾经是金斯顿重要的防御建筑，是一座位于圣劳伦斯河岸边的圆形堡垒，建于1846年。
