今天的亳州路大桥与环城路交汇处的环城路上就是当年水西门遗址。因城门在金斗河的西北，所以称之为“水西门”。连老人们的记忆也模糊了。只有在亳州路桥路边的小树林里，有一个书本模样的遗址纪念碑，上面雕刻的“水西门”三个大字诉说着这是一处遗迹。
