The Sky Tower is a sightseeing and communications tower in Auckland, New Zealand, at the junction of Vidonia Street and Federation Street in the central business district of Auckland. Calculated from the ground to the top of the tower antenna rod, the tower is 328 meters tall and is the tallest independent building in the southern hemisphere, and the 13th-highest independent sightseeing tower in the world.
