Legend has it that the Emperor of the Emperor came to the Beitianmen of Mount Tai. He watched the sunrise in the east and the sunset in the west. So there was a view of the top of Dongguan and the top of Xiguan. The legend is not important. The important thing is that you can really see the beauty of Mount Tai when you come to Beitianmen.

There are two viewing tops at the north gate of Mount Tai; the viewing tops of Dongguan and the viewing tops of Xiguan.
