Photos of Osaki Hachimangu Shrine

This shrine was built on the orders of Date Masamune and is the No. 1 guardian shrine in Sendai. The building of the shrine is magnificent and designated as a national treasure. The annual "burning festival (burning decorations of the first lunar month to pray for a year of happiness and health)" is held on January 14 every year.
