Qi Jiguang is from Penglai, the homeland of our national hero and anti-Japanese general. In the 600 years since Qi Bin (Qi Jiguang's great-great-grandfather) took over the hereditary command of Dengzhou during the Hongwu era, Qi clansmen have lived here and left numerous cultural relics in Penglai.
