GALA Yuzawa Ski Resort is the only ski resort in Japan that is directly connected to the Shinkansen. The station is the center of the ski resort, and the transportation is very convenient and extremely rare. You can rent equipment in the ski resort, you don't need to bring anything, just rent it on site. The entire ski area is large, and you can freely travel between the three connected mountains, Ishimaruchi Mountain and Yuzawa Kogen Mountain, which is quite popular.
