Thai Literature and Art Asia's first creative learning center Thailand Creative & Design Centre Thailand Creative Design Center TCDC, full name Thailand Creative & Design Centre , is a project on creativity and design led and supported by the Thai government. It is known as the 1st creative learning center on the Asian mainland, located in The Grand Postal Building on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. It covers an area of about 9000 square meters and has a total of 5 floors. This is called the Creative Learning Center because it is not just a public space for creative work, but also a library, labs, artwork areas, presentation areas, lecture halls, and materials and resource centers associated with creativity and design, It is a learning center for creative workers and designers. In the black and white TCDC lobby, space design, table and chair decoration are all from local designers. And behind the lobby on the first floor there is a cultural and creative product store, there are many exquisite and design souvenirs. Materials Library Material Library has more than 2,000 materials samples and multimedia databases, according to the material divided into: ceramics, glass, polymers, carbon-based, cement-based, metal, organic materials, processing materials and other eight categories, so that architectural designers and researchers can not only find inspiration but also Hand-in-hand. Exhibition spaces are integrated into various space types - bookshelves, walls, corridors, corners and even cafes, central spaces. Fresh ideas are everywhere and always surround people. The most worthwhile highlight is the super design resource center on the fourth floor, with a high space, mesh and translucent partitions creating a soft indoor light, and the combination of light and lines makes people think quietly. The top-floor terrace garden not only provides a view of the city, but also a close view of Garuda, the patron saint of the old General Post Office building, which is the coolest place in the building and a symbol of the national emblem and royal family. If you are lucky, you can also meet their regular outdoor film screenings.
