Cuihu Wetland Park (Phase I) has large lakes such as Swan Lake, Yanya Lake, and Lotus Pond, with a water surface area of about 20 hectares. The water quality of the park is under inspection all the year round. The park's constructed wetland sewage treatment system treats 120-170 tons of sewage every day, and the effluent quality is better than the national three-level water quality. Among the 18 indicators tested, 13 indicators reached the first-class water standard, two met the second-class water standard, and three met the third-class water standard. The overall water quality of the lake in the park is maintained between 3 and 4 types of surface water, which is better than the surrounding water quality. As soon as you enter the park, you can see a constructed wetland sewage treatment system for display. It includes three units of surface flow wetland, subsurface flow wetland and aquatic weed wetland. The whole process is 250 meters long, which can achieve advanced treatment of suspended solids and phosphorus in surface water. Many black swans in Swan Lake live in the waters, live in pairs or groups, feed on aquatic animals and aquatic plants, and build their nests in hidden places near the water. Each nest lays 4-8 eggs, with a life span of 20- 25 years. In addition to black swans, we can also see dancing egrets here. Egret's momentum when flying is not ordinary. There is a poem in "Mao Tao? Zhou Song" that says: "Zhen Lu is in flight, in Pixi Yong." Egret is naturally beautiful, slender, with pure white feathers, spotless, and looks proud and elegant , like a noble Snow White. There is also a larger bird in Swan Lake - pelican. They have a very special pair of mouths, big and yellow. Especially in the lower jaw, there is a large "skin", with it, pelicans can prey and store a lot of small fish at once. You will also find several species of water birds and ducks hidden in the large lake. Cuihu Wetland Park will take wetland ecological protection as the premise and wetland ecological landscape as the main feature, and strive to create a comprehensive popular science wetland center that integrates wetland ecological tourism, cultural tourism, learning and research.
