Kyu Horikiri-tei Historical Public Space
More than just a house, this small property contains several buildings of historical value, flowing hot springs and variety of flowering trees, including a Japanese zelkova which is over 250 years old...
One of the few tourist attractions in Iizaka Onsen. You can enter for free, so you can enjoy a large garden and a hand bath and foot bath. I wonder if I'm looking forward to the autumn leaves season. I wonder if it's a good idea to spend time leisurely because there are few people.
I visited during the autumn leaves season. It was lit up at night and the autumn leaves were very beautiful. In addition, there was a Japanese umbrella lit up in the warehouse, which was also fantastic.
A tourist destination in Iizaka Onsen. It is open for free. The facilities are very clean and well maintained, so it is easy to visit. It seems to be open from 9 in the morning to 9 in the evening. It's nice to be able to see even if you arrive a little late. How are you making a profit ... I didn't stop by because I didn't have time this time, but there is a footbath on the premises.
In the well maintained residence, there were the main house with 9 rooms, the 3' Kura 'and the city's cultural property 'Domazo'. In the main shop, the career of the horikiri family family, which was posted in the 'Kura' which was called 'tool ware' in the 'Kura' which was attached to the picture depicting the poets of hyakunin Isshu, was interesting.
