Convenient and friendly information centre
Luckily the information centre opened 10 minutes earlier than the advertised time of 9.00am as I could get a bus timetable from there before the first city sightseeing loop shuttle bus left at 9.00am....
This Gyoda City Tourist Information Center is located at the east exit of Gyoda Station on the JR Takasaki Line. Adjacent to the station. There is a bus from here to the Sakitama Kofun Group. You can get pan flats such as the Sakitama tumulus at the information center here. The ruins of Shinobu Castle are Gyoda City Station on the Chichibu Railway.
It was at the rotary in front of JR Gyoda Station. I visited on Sunday morning during the three consecutive holidays. The two staff kindly consulted for sightseeing. I also got a detailed map. I was able to rent a bicycle for free. Gyoda is flat, so I was able to cycle comfortably. It is convenient because there are many places to return.
There are many places where taxis do not come, so free rental bicycles are convenient.

It is right in front of you when you exit the east exit of JR Gyoda Station. I'm grateful that you can get information at the tourist information center, but there is a free bicycle rental. You can also get off at a designated place, so the trick is to tell the person in charge about the course to go around before renting and ask the place to return.
I stopped by because I was at the station before going to Ancient Lotus Village. There are various pamphlets and you can get advice. I was thinking of going to Shinobu Castle after the ancient lotus village, so I got a pamphlet about the city. The shuttle bus to the ancient lotus village was right next to this.
