A 110 year old observation tower.
The Bismarckturm is an observation tower, 23,33 meters high, placed in the forest on Stuckenberg in the eastern outskirts of Herford. It was built in 1906. See the website of the Freundeskreis Herford...
Wonderful walkways
goodly designed clean shotterway through the city forest, about 12 km roundabout from the city Bad Salzufle. The tower is only open in summer and then only every 14 days, but still in body ...

After a nice walk in Herford Stuckenberg you can enjoy the views at a cold drink. Please note opening times!
A walk worth
You can choose the Bismarck Tower excellently as a destination for a "digesttion walk" on Sunday. After that you can still find something to drink coffee nearby.
Open twice a month
The Bismarck Tower opened every 1st and 3th Sundays and on holidays. The views of the city forest Stuckenberg as well as the demand and Salzufler surroundings are worthwhile.
