On the hill in the east of Hong Kong Island. You can overlook the magnificent landscape of Hong Kong. The museum is very well designed, a large area including a mountaineering trail. And tickets are free. It was a fort. It is a small but very tasteful place.
The Museum of Coastal Defense mainly displays Hong Kong's navigational history and equipment. The exhibits are large in scale. Tickets of HK$10 are free every Wednesday. It is still very worthwhile for us to learn about navigational equipment and navigational knowledge which are rarely seen in peacetime.
