Not worth to go
The place is not easy to go to, and there is no direct bus to this place, which means either by walk or taxi. Could I just say it's a boring place? What it shows in this pic is all of it have....
The Jomon period residence is reproduced based on the ruins discovered when the wisteria platform housing complex was built. You can also enter the vertical hole-type residence that you have only seen in the textbook. Please note that there are times when repair work is being carried out for the restoration residence.
Located on the outskirts of the Fujinodai housing complex, even Machida citizens do not stop by very much. The pit-house is reproduced by 3 and there is an explanation on the panel. There is a Machida City Museum. The nearest bus stop is "Machida City Museum Mae", but it's far uphill.
A 20-minute walk north of Tamagawa Gakuenmae Station on the Odakyu Line, and you will arrive on a residential road with many slopes, but although it is a park, it is a facility in Machida City, so there are opening hours and closed days. Please note that there are "times and days of the week that cannot be entered". I went there on Monday morning so it was a double closing time. Still, you can see the two pit-houses restored through the fence. Originally, it seems that you can put it inside, I wonder if it will come again. This time, I will try using a fixed-route bus from Machida Station.
When I was walking while looking for Sakura around Tamagawa Gakuen, the top of the hill suddenly became flat and a residence from the Jomon or Yayoi period appeared. It seems rare that Jomon and Yayoi-style dwellings are mixed when excavated during the construction of a housing complex before. It is well understood that the area around Machida City is a corner of the Tama Hills and is a topography. In the square, young moms enjoyed cherry blossom viewing.
