Jizo wearing a flower temple and a sash

    Original Text

I stopped by during a walk around Takumi Town. There was a Jizo wearing a stone sugakasa in the beautiful precincts such as azaleas, rhododendron, and red maple trees even though it was spring.

there are foreign tourists these days.

    Original Text

Since it is an ancestral temple, I visit it regularly. It has a good atmosphere to feel the history. Recently, I often see foreign tourists. There is also a place where many Jizo statues called Gammagafuchi are lined up nearby.

In addition, the parent Jizo, which was located upstream due to the great flood of the Otani River and was placed in the back of Jizo, was also enshrined at that time and buried in the river floor. It is a quaint temple with many mossy stone Buddhas. There was no other visitor and it was very quiet. Where to see ...
