Mountain for easily hiking
This mountain located in the southwestern part of Chichijima. Visitors take buses to the starting point of trails. There was the bus stop, Kominato Kaigan. Then it took 30 minutes by foot to the peak ...
I visited various observatories on Chichijima, but this was the best. You can overlook the east side of Chichijima, and if you are lucky and lucky, you can see whales. It is located about 30 climbing a little trekking course from the bus stop on the Kominato coast. There are extremely few buses, so I think it would be convenient to rent a moped if possible. It is an observatory located at the end of the fixed-route bus, up the stairs and slopes from the Kominato coast. The bus interval is a little busy for an hour. I think it's better to see it for about 2 hours, including walking around the Kominato coast. You can access it without using a car, so I think it's an affordable destination to enjoy mini trekking personally other than trekking tours.
I think you can climb it in about 30 minutes from the Kominato Coast Bus Station. From the pass, you can see the pig coast and the Copepe coast, and you can see Ogamaru in the distance.
It is easy to reach because there is a bus running from the port to the Kominato coast. From there, you can go to Nakayama Pass immediately. The scenery is very good and there is an eastern store so you can relax.
