Rausu Town, Hokkaido [Drive] Rausu Kunigo Observatory 〜 Road Station Shiretoko Rausu 〜 Lusafield House 〜 Japan's Northeastern tip 〜 Aitomo Onsen, Seishi Onsen 〜 Whale Hill Park

    Original Text

On June 30, 2022, we visited the Rausu Town Local Museum on this day. From there, I drove to the Rausu Kunigo Observatory. On the way, I found a kita fox. Arrived at Rausu Kunigo Observatory. The parking lot is very large. Rausu Kunigo Observatory 32−1 0153-87-4560 Rebun-cho, Rausu-cho, Menashi-gun, Hokkaido. Unfortunately, the clouds are ...

Just in front of aitomari Bashi bridge

    Original Text

A wooden pillar is built in front of a private house on the left side of Aitomari Bridge, or in front of some building, and I wonder if it was built for tourists. It's a story that doesn't matter to the locals.

    A solid road.

    Original Text

The road extending along the northeast coast from the center of Rausu Town is surprisingly wide 々, giving the impression that there are many private houses. When you enter the World Heritage Area, the number of private houses will decrease, and the facilities used for fishing will be the center. There is a fishing port at the end point, and it seems that there are many fishing boats for tourists.

just a little bit before the northernmost end, rausucho road station.

    Original Text

At first it was a storm, but it was sunny, and I could see the northern territories seriously and enjoy the scenery of the Kamchatka Peninsula.

this is the end of the earth.

    Original Text

I went to June 2019. It is a dead end on the road about 30 minutes by car after passing the town of Rausu. Aitomari Bridge is the farthest point where you can drive. I found a signboard of "Japan's Northeastern tip" in front of the shop that I haven't done now in front of the bridge. This is the "endmost land" on the Shiretoko Peninsula.
