Quiet place
Finished whale watching cruise and it was too early for lunch. I strolled around and the shrine was just a few minutes walk from downtown. No one was there. Next to the shrine is a little fountain ...
I went to June 2019. It is a shrine in the town of Rausu on the Shiretoko Peninsula. The torii gate and the shrine building are new and beautiful shrines. Azaleas were in bloom on both sides of the stairs leading to the torii gate and it was very beautiful. It's a quiet atmosphere, with a sparsely populated individual tourists.
It was the total guardian "Rausu Shrine" of Shiretoko on a small hill. It was a good feeling.

It was founded during the Ansei era and ...
