Those little red flames that you can see in some of the streets of Rotterdam mark the part of Rotterdam that was bombed during World War II. A nice way of remembering those terrible events.
It is a “monument” that covers the whole city, represents the point where a German bomb fell during the bombing that suffered the city in the Second World War.
