Ayushima seen through a thousand years of olive
Original Text
I was able to get on one car ferry early, so I decided to stop by without planning. From the hill, you can see people walking on Angel Road on Asahi Island (Benten Island, Nakayo Island, Oyo Island) and it is an interesting view. The olive tree itself feels quite painful, but the leaves were sluggish. It's a little bit, but it's a little disappointing because it's raining. I might have been more impressed if it was sunny.
The 1000-year-old olive tree seems to have been carried from Spain and transplanted several years ago. It may be a tourist attraction, but I pray that it will take root without dying in Japan. From the observatory, you can see the Angel Road beautifully.
There was the tree in the lonely place on the hill. It was a location with a view of the sea. It seems that you can see the starry sky at night. (It was written on the signboard.)
When I went 20 minutes before dawn, a large olive tree spread its branches against the red horizon. It looks even bigger by organizing the surroundings and cutting them off. It seems that it has been 130 years since the oyster was transplanted to Shodoshima, so it's exaggerated for a thousand years, but I'm convinced that it means a thousand years from now. Great location! Great!
The sightseeing bus didn't go back, so I walked a little 々

It seems to be planted in "Olive Forest EAST" on the premises of Shodoshima Healthy Land. On March 15, 1950, Emperor Showa began to pick up olive seeds at the time of visiting Shodoshima, and March 15 seemed to have been made "Olive Day", and the age of the tree was matched to the anniversary of 2011 ...
