Cute little shrine nestled in the heart of Yamagata

If you ever had the feeling of somewhere "opening up" before you, this would be one of those places. When you turn the corner to approach this adorable Inari Shrine, it's almost as if you step into a ...

Since I visited the site of the Sannomaru earthworks, I went around from the north side, but there is an entrance along the street in front of the station, so it is easier to understand. It is said that this name is derived from the custom of writing a song on a strip and dedicating it to the shrine. The main shrine was also reasonably good.

The beginning was built in Yamagata Castle built during the period of the Northern and Southern Dynasties by Kaneyori Shiba, the ancestor of Mr. Mogami. There is a custom in which the Lord of the castle and the person of the castle 々 write a song in the strip and dedicate it to God, and there is a bridge that does not pass the song, and it is' utakake. ' It means that the name remains.

beside the site of sannomaru earthenware

    Original Text

1618 It is said that the origin of the year was that the predecessor, Gofozan Kichishoin, solicited Inari from Fushimi, Kyoto. It is located on the main street in front of the station from Yamagata Station. This shrine, which is read as Utakakeinarijinja, had a bridge that was not allowed to cross unless you read a song, so it seems that worshipers had a custom of dedicating songs. The faith of Mogami family 々 is thick and is located in the former Yamagata Castle. At the gathering place near the three torii gates, Mitsuya dewajian, a soba shop of a famous soba shop, entered the store as a tenant and ...
