March 2024 Here is a list of issues you may have to deal with: 1. Lights are weirdly wired. You can’t turn on the bathroom lights without having the rest of the lights on. This is problematic when one is sharing the apartment and one needs to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Other guests staying at the apartments had the same issue. 2. It is stated that the apartment has Netflix but it does not work. When I mentioned it to the marketing girl she said she would have it looked at but no one came to the apartment to repair the problem. Again, other guests staying in the apartments had the same issue. 3. When we arrived on the 13th, there was only one tea bag instead of 2. I was sharing the room with my husband, that is not thoughtful, obviously we would have needed 2 teabags. 4. We stayed 5 nights and only had the room serviced once. I had left the tag to service the room but it was only done once. 5. On the Saturday our room was finally serviced but they did not replenish the toilet paper and we were left with none which meant we had to purchase toilet paper as there was no one in reception. If conveniences and service isn't important to you then by all means stay here. The apartments are just off the main road that have lots of great cafes and restaurants. The apartments are brand new, fresh, clean and modern. The staff are helpful and listen to concerns you may have. Read less Tip: An apt description for this place is Location, Location, Location. The apartments are brand new so they are clean, fresh & modern.

Very professional staff with a great product. I had no issues with anything. My room was well equipped, spacious and more important clean. As I travel on business I like a cup of tea in my room. Couldn’t find any teabags even though there was milk in the fridge. I would have appreciated a cold bottle of water supplied in the fridge.

I said here with my husband and two young children for a long weekend. It was clean and the beds comfortable. We had a fridge microwave and table and chairs. I pre prepared some meals and was able to heat them up in the microwave. Our room was cleaned everyday by house keeping as well.

Very slow lift. Apartment was poorly designed. All amenities are the cheapest possible. The bed is not comfortable at all to the point that my wife had to sleep on the short couch. Being 6 foot 3 I didn’t fit on the couch so I had to sleep on the uncomfortable bed and wake up with sore hips each morning. The appliances are all good except the tiny TV. The apartment has a large living room and kitchen area but the bed is so close to the closet that the doors don’t open all the way. The main complaint was that the toilet was so close to a shower wall that I couldn’t sit down on it without banging my knees. A little extra space in the bathroom and bedroom taken out of the living room would have made a huge difference. All amenities soap, tissues, TV, sofa, etc. seemed to be the very cheapest available. There is only one plug in the kitchen and it’s behind the microwave.

A truly amazing experience, everyone who is involved here is friendly and so accommodating from the moment we walked in. The room is very comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is top class, the guy running food and beverage is in a class of his own, he has made our stay an experience. Cannot recommend it enough we will make this our place to stay on our visits to Adelaide.

Easy check in and parking available. The rooms were big. The windows and carpet need a deep clean but the location is great and exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. The shower in the main bathroom however is not accessibility friendly as you need to step into a high bathtub with no handrail for support.

After staying at oaks hotels in Adelaide and Melbourne and convincing my company to book the oaks horizons for our staff I was very disappointed, I have always stayed at this hotel on family holidays and also recommended it to other people going to Adelaide, not anymore, when I got to hotel the first thing I did was to iron my clothes that I was going to wear for the next few days , the iron which still had water in it stained my jeans with a dirty rusty water which continued to seep out , when I went down to reception they brought another iron to my room and when I went to use it I noticed there was no lid where the water goes in for the steam function and every time I pushed the iron water spilt out over my clothes, at least it wasn’t dirty rusty water , when I went to use the shower, the head of the shower was full of mould and some other substances which I wouldn’t even try and describe, and when I went onto the balcony to have a coffee the table had a base missing on one of the leg’s which resulted in my coffee spilling everywhere, for the price we payed for the rooms it was disgraceful, my company will be travelling to Adelaide quite a bit for the next few years , and probably spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on accommodation, but not at this hotel, it’s sad what has become of this hotel, i think the cleaners need retraining and I think the staff and management need to have a good look at themselves, maybe the oaks franchise should inspect this hotel to see if it’s worthy of the oaks brand, I hardly ever write a review and am a pretty understanding type of person so you know when I’m writing a bad review of a hotel I’ve always supported how bad it was , clean up your act horizons, John Setka CFMEU

We were really happy with the Majestic Oasis. Friendly staff on arrival. The rooms are well appointed and clean. We got one by the waters edge- reasonable view (for Port Augusta...) and it was a good size. The only issue with the place is that there is very little around it - the better restaurants are the other side of the bridge.

The first night when I checked in was Friday, it was very noisy at night, and the noise was still there around 3 o'clock in the morning. It gets better in the next few days. The location is relatively convenient, just across the road is the Walking Shopping Festival. If you want a better environment and a quiet hotel with children, this hotel is not recommended.

I booked room 29 the “Executive Suite” this is beautiful accommodation, under different circumstances it would be perfect for a holiday stay, but we were there to be close to family member in hospital. Back to the review, even though we didn’t make full use of it the suite is very nicely furnished, the beds are oh so comfy and the kitchen family has everything you could possibly want with a full kitchen and a huge couch to laze around. Go there you won’t be disappointed. My one and only negative is parking can be tricky.
