The place is spacious and the location is excellent. It is right next to the main road. After watching the little penguins, you can buy fast food nearby before returning to the hostel. The room is spacious and there are staff on duty at night. You can park at the door, which is very convenient

The room is very comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the particularly good place is that there is a bathtub that can be SPA, which is so cool! The boss is from Beijing and very talkative. There is a supermarket and a variety of food nearby, which is very convenient.

We were blown away by the room and the service! The rooms are large, modern, with a fully equipped kitchen, quality bed linens, and the room was clean and tidy. The fluffy robes were a nice touch. We entered the room on a cold night, and the owners had turned on the heat pump so it was lovely and warm which was very thoughtful. We will only stay here anytime we are back in Dunedin!!

Located on a city street, with various shops nearby. The front desk is staffed from 2 PM onwards. It's a 3-minute walk to Lake Wanaka, and about a 25-minute leisurely stroll to the Lone Tree. Enjoying the natural scenery along the way in the early morning is very pleasant and comfortable. If you want to stargaze at night, even walking to the nearby lake, you'll still be affected by the brightness of the streetlights. It's next to a large supermarket and a 5-minute walk to the food truck park, making it convenient for finding food. There are fewer parking spaces than rooms, so if the lot is full upon arrival, you'll need to park in a nearby park, and be mindful of the paid parking hours. The room has a sofa, a full dining table and chairs, a bar, and a basic kitchenette. However, the pot had food residue, which made us question the overall cleanliness of the utensils and made us hesitant to use them. The fixed showerhead in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient, and the room's brightness was dimmer than shown in the photos.

A first class motel with genuine owners who do their best to present their motel in excellent condition. My room was larger than most Motels and is very well appointed with everything I needed to prepare dinner, including full and fresh salt and pepper shakers.  The room was spotless giving the feeling that the motel is new, which it is not. Such is the high standard of cleaning and continuing maintenance. The heating worked well and the bed has two separate electric blankets.  The bathroom was also spotless, with good quality soap etc.  The TV is a full 55 inch and in addition to normal TV they provide free Netflix and other services. WiFi works well.  The motel is peaceful and quiet. It’s also near the Otago University which is well worth a visit and is only a short walk away. It’s also only a short walk to the centre of town where there are many shops cafes and restaurants. The city includes the scenic railway station and various historic buildings and churches.  Overall a first class motel, and one of the best motels I have experienced. Thank you.

Overall, this accommodation was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The unit was very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The layout was practical and suitable for both short and longer stays, with ample space to move around and relax. One of the biggest advantages was how easy the place was to locate. Clear directions and a convenient location made check-in smooth and stress-free, especially after a long journey. The surrounding area was also quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, from the rooms to the common areas, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this accommodation offers great comfort, convenience, and value. We would definitely recommend it to others and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The service was very intimate. The room heating was turned on in advance before we checked in, and it felt very warm as soon as we opened the door. The room was clean and the layout was reasonable. It is also a walking distance to the river, the price is super high, and unexpectedly satisfied.

Cromwell is a beautiful place and this motel was perfect for our stay which included a trip to the Carrick Winery restaurant and a walk along the Cromwell to Clyde trail. The host gave us great tips on where to eat breakfast and overall was a super stay

The hotel is located in the city center, only 5 minutes walk to the First Church and about 10 minutes to the train station. Parking is convenient and there are many places to eat. When checking in, there is no front desk and you have to call. The hotel is old but very clean. The elevator is too old and a bit scary. I bought bread for breakfast at the supermarket. There are bowls and basins.

I originally planned to stay in Twizel, but couldn't find any good accommodation, so I chose Sara instead. It exceeded my expectations, offering great value for money. It's very convenient if you're driving, and the owner is really nice. I stayed for three nights and highly recommend it.
