Unfortunately, during our stay at this hotel from 21 to 28 may 2022, a pair of shoes we had bought were stolen from us, and although the hotel's security cameras were checked and it was found that the fog had been stolen, they did not accept the hotel's security manager ! We were easily robbed in a five-star hotel chain , I attached a photo of the shoe bags on the day we bought it and went to the room .

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days during my quick holiday in Istanbul. Here is my first impression: What I liked: - good location. close to the city center and close to the public transport - good breakfast - the hotel has a pool and a sauna in the basement - the hotel is very clean and the service is good. What I didn't like: - the Wifi network is a complete disaster. If you stay at this hotel, you can simply forget about internet. The speen was so horrendously slow that I gave up and went to nearby restaurants to use the wifi - the bed wasn't confortable. The mattress is bouncing too much. - the pool has so much chlorine that you can't swim for more than 1-2 min.

Clean rooms, close location for Fetih district, but still some 600 meter walking distance to Tram. If you fancy living in old district, this is the place to be. But after a few days, you may wish to move to the more affluent areas so you can experience the modern Istanbul. Service is good, front desk is quite helpful. Value for money .

We had a change of itinerary which meant that the hotel we booked was not in the ideal location for us and meant lot of going back and forth and as we had not booked free cancellation were able to modify or cancel the booking. There are places to eat nearby and a nice high street for breakfast, food, restaurants but not any convenience stores. There is a nice promenade for a walk however its a bit of a mission to cross to the other side of the busy road due to the fence. So you have to walk over the manned bridge. From there its a 1.5hours walk to Sultanahmet. There is no hotel shuttle so the only other option to get to the main sights is by taxi. In the winter time its not as bad maybe 10 minutes to Sultanahmet and 20 minutes to Galata Tower. The hotel is actually pretty decent, clean, bar area with free biscuits, luggage area. I wasn't too keen on the requirement to insert your card in the lift to use it, it had us confused esp as no one told us. They serve nice range of food at decent prices. The room was big enough for a couple, with all the standard mod cons like kettle, shower, free WIFI and also had a convenient chair, desk and couch. It also had a free safe which was easy to use and enough storage area. Room was clean and found the bed pretty comfortable. The sea view was great, maybe a room higher up might have been better.

Hotel a little smaller than I had envisioned. It was a pleasant experience especially at the spa where I found a balinese working there. After a long flight a steam room, Turkish bath and an excellent massage is heavenly. Package promo at €55 is reasonable. Massage is 40 min. Add on massage will cost €30 for another 40 mins. I wish the spa offers Ayurvedic massage as well! Staffs are friendly although I found most people in turkey flaunting the rules on the masks and staying too close to the guests. It must be too hot for them and even at the mall I found them pulling down when they talked to customers!!! That’s going to be bad news in trying to control covid! Generally though, staff here still following the rules. Not so much the taxi drivers and other people outside! I only stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Took some photos at the roof top but considering its location and surrounding area (nothing much one can do other than walk around the river) it’s tough choice to stay on for more nights unless you are driving yourself. Nonetheless I had pleasant time here thanks to all stuff. A taxi ride to Istenya Park from here costs around 70TL.

From Asia Airport, take the bus to Taksim Square. Take a taxi for about 30 lire. The hotel is highly ranked on TripAdvisor. The overall taste of a small hotel. There is a feeling of entering ”Where are Fantastic Beasts” or Harry Potter style. Breakfast on the top floor can watch the sea. It's not far to walk to several major attractions. The more famous dessert shops are more expensive. Go to the restaurant of the three partners. There is a sweets souvenir on the opposite side that only costs 68 lire per kilogram. tasty
Garden House Hotel - Special Class

I recently visited Istanbul with my siblings/spouses (6 seniors from Europe, US and Central America) September 20 to the 27, 2023, and stayed at the Garden House Hotel. I was in charge of making arrangements and I was a little nervous about picking the right place. I wondered about cleanliness, safety, location, charm, authenticity, etc. Let me tell you, the Garden House Hotel surpassed my expectations. It is a little jewel in the center of Istanbul, walking distance to the beautiful sites, the rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, the restaurant was fabulous for dinner, the staff at the hotel could not have been sweeter, kinder and most helpful; from the doorman, to the room cleaning personnel, they were all great. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, the cook was delightful and the server very sweet. It is hard to believe that there exists today, a business where every employee does their job in the best way possible, with the best attitude and efficiency. We enjoyed our stay, and we were sad to leave. I highly recommend the restaurant for dinner, we had dinner there the first night and that was probably our best meal hands down, and also fantastic service, even though we visited many great places, including one with a Michelin mention. I do not hesitate to highly recommend this lovely, charming, quaint hotel in the middle of everything. It is not a deluxe hotel, but it is a great property and if you encounter any little problem, all you will need to do is mention it to the front desk, and they will jump and do whatever needs to be done to make you happy. And to recap, the location could not be better, as I mentioned, above near every important site, and also surrounded by authentic, local restaurants; we basically walked everywhere, except when we took the boat tour on the Bosphorus, and the staff was always happy to point us in the right direction. Our sincere gratitude and warmest regards to Levent, Tarik, Salauk, Elvin, Omer, Mine and Nino, you ALL truly made a big difference to us and made an already magical vacation even greater, thank you! HI - I have marked this as average for a couple of reasons - the first is that when you book this hotel online they do not tell you that there are 2 wings in the hotel facing each other - the first is one is the main only with suite rooms and the other one is called the ”deluxe” wing. Also they don't tell on the website what is different between the 2 wings - we booked the hotel through Makemytrip.com website where it was mentioned that the room size was 325 sq ft and advertised as a 5 star hotel. Believing the details we booked the hotel for 7 nights - now when we check in we find the following problems : 1. The room is barely 200 sq ft in size and very small 2. The floors are stained 3. The furniture is all scratched 4. There is supposedly a balcony which is dirty and walls are stained 5. The lobby of the so called 5 star hotel was like a 2 star small lobby. So we call the Guest Relationship executive and make the complaints that this is not a 5 start hotel room - it is not even a 2 star hotel room and the area is much smaller than advertised. He agrees with us but says he is helpless - so we ask to see the manager - the manager has perfected the art of making excuses - he tells us that the room is used daily so the furniture is damaged and the area of the room is as per the original plan which was passed although the actual size is small. We made a huge fuss and asked to be relocated to the other wing - so they showed us a suite room which was nice and we asked them to move us there - they said that this would cost us 90 euros per night extra - we negotiated and settled at euro 50 per night and paid euros 350 extra for the 7 nights. This wing is fine and service is also good. I am attaching the pictures of the room in the deluxe wing - please see for your self whether this can be called as a room of a 5 tsar hotel. The hotel really needs to be pulled up for false advertising and also MakeMyTrip should be pulled up for not verifying claims of the hotels they advertise on their website.
