For sixteen consecutive years, the Chania International Contemporary Dance Festival's "Dance Days Chania" has transformed Chania into a vibrant hub for artists, audiences, and the community. From July 20 to August 2, 2026, a diverse array of performances, workshops, screenings, site-specific projects, and educational activities will be held throughout Chania's theaters, cultural venues, and public spaces, placing the human body and its resilience at the heart of artistic exploration. The 2026 program includes 15 stage performances, 2 free public space performances, 12 workshops and masterclasses, 4 ongoing works showcased through a new open studio platform, dance film screenings, an animation screening in collaboration with Chaniartoon, and community-driven projects developed throughout the year.
