Getting There

Davao is served by Francisco Bangoy International Airport, also commonly called Davao International airport which is just 10 km away from the city centre and can easily be reached by taxi or jeepney. Tip: Be sure to take a metred taxi because the taxi drivers usually charge 2-3 times more.

Crocodile Park is one of the top attractions in Davao, which is home to thousands of freshwater and saltwater crocodiles. You will also get to see other reptiles, monkeys and birds. The park offers awareness of wildlife conservation efforts and provides educational tours and lectures. 

Mindanao’s rainforests are home to a number of birds, reptiles, mammals and the great Philippine Eagle which is the national bird of the country.

The tours include a visit to the Lubi plantation, great food, coffee and dessert and a fun time at the beach. 

Climb Mount Apo, one of South East Asia’s highest mountains, situated right in Davao. At the top, there is a 500-metre-wide crater lake created by volcanic activity and a 150-metre-tall Tudaya Falls waterfall.

After a day full of sightseeing, stop by the Roxas Avenue Night Market for some freshly cooked Filipino food.
