Homestays in Gansu, China

The hotel looks really nice and will look great on anybody’s instagram. However, I had a room on the first (ground) floor and these should be avoided by anybody caring about privacy. One of the windows opened on the courtyard and the other opened on an alley, at street level. Anybody walking by inside or outside had a direct view inside the room.

The hostel is very good! There are lots of restaurants nearby and the bus station to reach the sights of the city is also close. The host is very very friendly and gave us some recommendations for transport and food. He even gave us some melon and another fruit to eat while checking in and after we woke up. We could leave our bags in a locked room after check-out while still exploring the city.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The staff is super charming and kind and helpful The location is in the newly developed ”old street” which is very charming. In the area there are many restaurants and some bars. Yet the hotel is very quiet. There is underground parking and a lift directly from parking to hotel floors. The room is very well designed and well equipped. I particularly loved the fact that although I arrived around midnight I was able to give my clothes for washing and they were ready when I woke up. They have a washing machine with a dryer function. And I really needed some laundry after two weeks of travel across South Korea. The 2pm check out was also quite amazing as I was super tired after my long journey day before

The room is antique, just next to the Moroshi Temple. The small hot pot next to the skewers is particularly convenient, and it is really charming to take a quiet return to the village. I think the price is also right. Compared with those business hotels that are more biased and at least 300 large, this one is really good value for money. And the hotel brother has been busy and busy, and has been very natural to laugh and communicate with you. Compared with the standard process-style smile service of business or star hotels, people feel warmer in their hearts and really feel like visiting friends. Because it is a bungalow, the room will occasionally find small bugs and the like, but this is normal, the bungalow will definitely have these, especially care to pay attention, but we don't care about this. Other sanitary environments are very good I forgot to take the photo in the room, but it is the same as the picture introduction. Should you say or not, some suggestions, purely personal suggestions: 1. In such an antique yard, there should be a few lounge chairs. Imagine how comfortable it is to lie down in the yard and drink tea in summer; 2. The socket in the room is indeed a bit small, just two bedsides and bathrooms have a total of 3 5-hole plugs (and the side of the bedside is still occupied by the stereo), now it is mobile phones, cameras, charging treasures, drones...especially inconvenient; 3. The lenses in the projector are a bit dirty and the picture is a bit blurry.

The courtyard house of the palace is really amazing! The appearance is simple and elegant, the ”Fucheng Siheyuan” plaque is eye-catching, the Zhuhong column and the gray and white wall are full of traditional charm. The garden in the courtyard is elegant, the green plants and flowers are full of vitality, the wooden swing is fun, and the children have a great time. The rooms are traditional and modern, the yurt is uniquely shaped, and the internal facilities are complete and comfortable. The breakfast is rich and delicious, the beef soup is mellow, the tomato scrambled eggs are refreshing, and there are various dishes to satisfy the taste buds. The service is warm and thoughtful, from check-in to check-out, caring. The overall experience is superb, enjoying the ancient charm and comfort, I recommend everyone to come here to feel a different style! The homestay is clean and hygienic, and the boss is warm and welcoming. It is a good place to travel and rest.

Amazing location and excellent facilities. We do not speak mandarin but were able to communicate with translation apps. The staff were friendly and helpfull, the scenery was spectacular, and the accomodation was very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here ! dinner was available via ordering from a menu to a local restaurant which the staff organised. Wifi was available, and the mobile phone coverage was good also. Excellent walking paths nearby from the hotel.

The best homestay I have ever stayed in the Qinggan Dahuan Line, the owner is very tasteful, the room including the outside of the homestay is very clean, the details are in place, and the facilities are perfect. The bedding and electrical appliances are all better brands. It can be seen that this is a homestay run by the boss. The boss is very enthusiastic and very thoughtful. The small yard in the homestay and the environment next to it are very good, super recommended.

Ok in the listing it was not indicated that the bathroom is shared (many guesthouses put this info in the title of the room categories. But probably one could have guessed by way this guesthouse was only displaying only 2 room photos without any bathroom photo. But the price is cheap, very close to the railway station, fast wifi, bottled water and friendly service. The shared bathroom is a bit of a walk from the room in open air setting. Probably difficult in winter. But the weather in Tianshui in June was warm so that’s good. Checkin process also took a while for foreigner’s registration. Overall, it was an okay for budget stay for 1 night before taking the train.

Facilities: The facilities are very new, the hotel is newly opened, and the facilities are complete Hygiene: There is room for improvement in the bedding hygiene, and everything else is good. Environment: It is very close to Labrang Monastery, and it is convenient for dining and other aspects Service: The service is 100 points! The yogurt is very delicious, especially grateful 🙏

The environment was superb, exceeding our expectations. The room, which cost just over 300 yuan, boasted five-star amenities and service. My daughter and I took the bus to Mati Temple. The hotel was still a bit far from our arrival, but the owner personally drove a Great Wall off-road vehicle to pick us up and carried our luggage upstairs. The room had a king-size double bed, a full two meters and three meters wide. The room was equipped with Xiaomi Home, and the Xiao Ai smart assistant was incredibly clever. The curtains could be opened to three-sevenths and five-eighths. In the hallway, there were photos of local wildlife taken by the owner. A family of three marmots was having a meeting, which was quite vivid. Snow leopards, lynxes, vultures, eagles soared, various birds, ******* foxes, wild wolves, ******* wild donkeys, and much more... This is a top choice for anyone visiting Mati Temple. You can stay overnight and get up early to visit the caves without having to wait in line. In the evening, you can also go horseback riding on the grasslands to the waterfall area and pick mushrooms in the forest. It's a shame we only had one night, so I forgot to take photos. I'll definitely come back next time. The boss said there is a discount for the Golden Pagoda Temple. If you stay here and do not go to the Golden Pagoda Temple and the Special Caves, you can only buy tickets for the Thirty-three Days Grottoes, and you can also take the scenic bus to see various attractions.
