Homestays in Gansu, China

The hotel looks really nice and will look great on anybody’s instagram. However, I had a room on the first (ground) floor and these should be avoided by anybody caring about privacy. One of the windows opened on the courtyard and the other opened on an alley, at street level. Anybody walking by inside or outside had a direct view inside the room.

The hostel is very good! There are lots of restaurants nearby and the bus station to reach the sights of the city is also close. The host is very very friendly and gave us some recommendations for transport and food. He even gave us some melon and another fruit to eat while checking in and after we woke up. We could leave our bags in a locked room after check-out while still exploring the city.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The staff is super charming and kind and helpful The location is in the newly developed ”old street” which is very charming. In the area there are many restaurants and some bars. Yet the hotel is very quiet. There is underground parking and a lift directly from parking to hotel floors. The room is very well designed and well equipped. I particularly loved the fact that although I arrived around midnight I was able to give my clothes for washing and they were ready when I woke up. They have a washing machine with a dryer function. And I really needed some laundry after two weeks of travel across South Korea. The 2pm check out was also quite amazing as I was super tired after my long journey day before

The room is antique, just next to the Moroshi Temple. The small hot pot next to the skewers is particularly convenient, and it is really charming to take a quiet return to the village. I think the price is also right. Compared with those business hotels that are more biased and at least 300 large, this one is really good value for money. And the hotel brother has been busy and busy, and has been very natural to laugh and communicate with you. Compared with the standard process-style smile service of business or star hotels, people feel warmer in their hearts and really feel like visiting friends. Because it is a bungalow, the room will occasionally find small bugs and the like, but this is normal, the bungalow will definitely have these, especially care to pay attention, but we don't care about this. Other sanitary environments are very good I forgot to take the photo in the room, but it is the same as the picture introduction. Should you say or not, some suggestions, purely personal suggestions: 1. In such an antique yard, there should be a few lounge chairs. Imagine how comfortable it is to lie down in the yard and drink tea in summer; 2. The socket in the room is indeed a bit small, just two bedsides and bathrooms have a total of 3 5-hole plugs (and the side of the bedside is still occupied by the stereo), now it is mobile phones, cameras, charging treasures, drones...especially inconvenient; 3. The lenses in the projector are a bit dirty and the picture is a bit blurry.

The Siheyuan in Fucheng is truly stunning! The exterior is simple and elegant, with an eye-catching plaque of ”Fucheng Siheyuan”, vermilion pillars and gray-white walls, fully displaying traditional charm. The garden in the courtyard is elegant, with green plants and flowers full of vitality, and the wooden swings add fun, where the children have a lot of fun. The room combines tradition and modernity. The yurt has a unique shape and is fully equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is rich and delicious, with mellow beef soup, refreshing scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and a variety of dishes to satisfy your taste buds. The service is warm and thoughtful, from check-in to check-out, with great care. The overall experience is great, with both ancient charm and comfort. I recommend everyone to come here to experience a different style! The homestay is clean and sanitary, and the owner is warm and service-oriented. It is a good place to rest during travel.

Amazing location and excellent facilities. We do not speak mandarin but were able to communicate with translation apps. The staff were friendly and helpfull, the scenery was spectacular, and the accomodation was very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here ! dinner was available via ordering from a menu to a local restaurant which the staff organised. Wifi was available, and the mobile phone coverage was good also. Excellent walking paths nearby from the hotel.

During the peak summer vacation season, I only booked my trip ten days in advance. I couldn't book a traditional hotel family room, so I tried a homestay. I immediately saw the loft room of Ruchu Homestay, which was suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. The two sisters really liked this room with a ladder (not stairs). They didn't want to come down after going up! The landlord had seen the world in Beijing and didn't want to be in a big factory. She returned to her hometown with her dream. The homestay designer she hired was also a Beijing academician with long-term study experience in Japan. No wonder the interior style is simple and the public space is so large that it is luxurious. I like the trees planted indoors. The wetland park separated by a wall is full of vitality after the rain. Various duck mothers take their babies for a walk in the lake. Black swans will take the ugly babies to approach people. You can bring nothing to feed them. Overall, I am very satisfied with the homestay. Although it is a bit far from Ming and Qing Street and you have to take a taxi to leave the village, it is very quiet. The boss will recommend local specialties. It is a good place to wash away the smell of class. It is worth recommending.

This hotel is in a very good spot, opposite the river, away from the traffic and tourist groups. The restaurant offers great food and drinks. The personal is very friendly and helpful and the room looked very nice, ******* style , and the mattress was comfortable . Can recommend this place without hesitation.

I drove to the hotel inside the Horse-Ti Temple. The room was clean and comfortable. The pillows were a little too soft. It's very close to the Thirty-three Temples, so I visited the North Cave early the next morning before the crowds arrived. It was a wonderful experience. Wild Encounters and Wildlife Exploration: At 6:30 a.m., the staff took us to feed the blue pheasants, a nationally protected species. They said they've been feeding these pheasants for seven years, and their efforts have significantly increased their numbers.

The room is very exquisitely decorated. You can see the Nine Bends of the Yellow River when you enter. The scenery is really beautiful. The facilities are also complete. Daily necessities such as razors, makeup remover towels, etc. provide a lot of convenience. The front desk service is also very good! ! It is worth mentioning that because my friend who was traveling with me had a fever, I went to get two bottles of water in the morning and explained the situation. The front desk sent us a lot of water in the evening. Not only that, it was also equipped with a medical box, thermometer, and antipyretic medicine. All of them are in place for the safety of tourists. I hope I can stay here next time. I highly recommend everyone to come and check out and there are souvenirs! !
