The pension is easy to find, and staff are very helpful. Beds are comfortable; coffee and tea are available; everything is clean. The only difficulty might be is there is only one bathroom for all the guests. We were here in low season, so didn't have much difficulty, but I can imagine problems in the high season. The pension is in the old part of San Sebastian, so visiting the most picturesque parts is easy, as is visiting nearby villages. Local food is excellent. I highly recommend this pension; excellent value for your money. It's the best base for exploring this part of the Basque Country.

Loved my stay at Hotel Arriaga! The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of everything and super easy to walk everywhere. The room was clean, modern, and the bed was super comfy. The staff were really lovely and gave us some great tips for local pintxo bars. The vibe is relaxed and unpretentious, which we appreciated. Small note for light sleepers: ask for a room away from the street, as it can get a bit lively at night (but that's part of the charm of being in a great location!). The WiFi was also a bit spotty at times. Overall, fantastic value for money. Would definitely stay here again for a casual city break! Perfect for: Travelers who want a central spot without the fancy price tag.

The room was basic but clean and was situated on the outskirts of Bilbao. The sound insulation was terrible and other guests could be heard clearly though the walls. I also found the room very cold and there was no aircon or heating system to help guests stay warm. Reception isn’t 24/7 so no one to ask questions of. I thought the place was massively over priced as it is rather like a youth hostel as there isn’t a joining bathroom facility.

Progressive hotel at the heart of Eibar's town; a great place to stay if you're going to watch their soccer team play. I love staying at this place every time I'm in San Sebastian. This is my third time here. Check-in is super quick online, and the reception staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. The place is clean, spacious, and has all the amenities. It even has a small refrigerator and a bar outside the room where you can make coffee or tea in the mornings—it's fantastic!
