I booked a single room, and I really liked it – it was very clean and had no strange odors. When I first checked in, the front desk gave me a bottle of Ice Dew mineral water. I was happy with my stay, so I extended it for another night through the platform. However, when I went to the front desk later that evening because I was thirsty and wanted another bottle of water, I was told that the complimentary water was only for the first day of check-in, and not for extended bookings. I jokingly asked, ”So, if I had checked out at noon and then re-checked in, would I have gotten a bottle of mineral water?” The front desk attendant initially said, ”If you put it that way, I'll give you one,” but then refused, citing strict rules from the owner. I didn't push the issue; it felt unnecessary. I just bought a bottle of Ice Dew for 2 yuan and went upstairs. I found the whole situation a bit amusing, so I wanted to share it.

This is the only island-inspired backpacker hostel in Dadonghai area. The location is very strategic as it is just 6-8 minutes walk to the beach, surrounded by many restaurants and retail stores while still being tucked in a secluded area. You instantly feel like you are in a surfing beach hostel. All the staff are very very very friendly and helpful. On weekends, they have a morning DJ playing EDM music while guests are having breakfast and coffee which makes the vibe more exciting. If you are coming to Sanya on a budget but wanna be close to the beach, this place is truly the best choice for you. Very good value for money.

The soundproofing is poor; you can hear the airport announcements. However, the location is excellent, perfect for travelers with a very specific and singular purpose (i.e., catching an early morning flight). For restroom facilities, use the public one to the left of the entrance. There's a children's sink that adults can use to wash their feet (though not recommended, as we should be considerate). Disposable slippers and dental kits are provided. There's ventilation in the deluxe cabin, but it's noisy, so it's better to turn it on for a bit and then switch it off. While you might consider hotels a few kilometers from the airport that offer free shuttles, for travelers arriving late at night and flying out in the morning, ask yourself: shuttles run every 30 minutes or an hour (they don't cater to you on demand), and then you still have to check in. That's at least an hour of hassle. For those arriving late and leaving early, why would you look for a hotel instead of just making do on a chair overnight? Presumably, it's just to get a few more hours of sleep. And that's precisely the purpose of this hotel: to allow you to ”hit the sack” in the most straightforward way possible. Everything else is secondary.

The location is very convenient. It's close to everything you can eat and play. Next door is Haiyi Medical University, and there are a lot of students in Wuyue Plaza. The room was quite clean, the hygiene was good, and the stay was quite comfortable.

A highly recommended youth hostel, ideally situated alongside the Century Bridge, it's close to Century Park, Haidian Island's North and South Gate Night Market, Xitian Temple Snack Street, the Qilou Historical Pedestrian Street, Dongpo Old Wharf, Sky Inn, Haikou Bay Evergreen Park, Friendship Sunshine City, and Shangbang Parkview City. Both electric bikes and bicycles take just over 10 to 20 minutes to reach, making it a central hub for food, accommodation, and entertainment. It's also conveniently located near Haikou East Station and Chengxi Station, where you can take a taxi to the airport or the New Haikou Port in just over 10 minutes for a little over 10 yuan. A bus is also available from the nearby Citizen and Tourist Service Center. From the windows, you can enjoy the beautiful ocean view and the romantic afterglow of sunsets and sunrises. My visit to Haikou truly impressed me with the city's rapid transformation: its increasingly sophisticated transportation infrastructure, its vibrant urban life, and its increasingly civilized urban order. Although Haikou lacks the prosperity and development of a major city, it offers a sense of freedom and tranquility that comes with retiring from the countryside, a sense of peace and tranquility for a short stay. This seemingly unassuming small city offers us a warm, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, allowing those tired of the hustle and bustle of the city to reflect on the meaning of life in this peaceful place, understanding that life is not just about work, but also about living. This city is for passionate, free-spirited people, and is a perfect place for everyone to find their own happy haven. Finally, I hope our Haikou will continue to improve, and I also hope that the youth hostel business will be prosperous and smooth sailing.

An absolutely wonderful and unforgettable stay. The six-bed room is very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with an en-suite shower. Everything is designed to make getting around easy: electric scooters are available at a very reasonable price, and an electric scooter is even provided free of charge for short trips, which is a real bonus. The free transfers between the train station and the hostel (both ways) are a real plus and make arrival and departure very simple. But what truly sets this place apart is the manager: exceptionally kind, always available, attentive, and ready to help in any situation, even generously offering food. If I ever return to Hainan, this will be the only place I stay without hesitation. The location is also ideal for exploring the island: Sanya and Haikou are less than an hour away by train. A huge thank you to the manager for his warm welcome and remarkable hospitality.

I was wandering around Riyue Bay and accidentally found a very good youth hostel, so I decided to stay there. The price was cheap and it was in Riyue Bay Village. The surrounding environment was very good. It was not noisy at night and was very quiet. There were many activities during the weekdays. You can go to the beach and play together. The boss and volunteers were very good. I made new friends here. We all sang and drank together by the fire. It was so nice.

Facilities: Well-equipped, with a safe for valuables. Environment: Clean and tidy. Hygiene: Clean; the owner cleans daily. Service: Good. A complimentary yacht trip is included with a three-night stay: For a price of just over twenty yuan per night, this is an incredible deal for a three-night stay. Transportation is provided, and there are several free activities available on the yacht's first floor. Lunch is also included.

Very comfortable hostel. Staff always keep the room clean. There are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets near the hostel. If you enter the hostel, take a lift and go up to the 10th floor. Washing machines will cost 5 to 10 yuan.

Last year, I stayed at the back door alone. This week, the school was on holiday, so I brought two friends to stay at the back door again. Ayisha even came to the high-speed rail station to pick us up🥹 The little guitar teacher who patiently drew henna for us and sang beautifully🦋 The career-oriented big woman Qingjie, a charming woman who said she was an i person but was very enthusiastic and cheerful🕳️ The sweet and cute Guangdong sister who took photos for me when we went out to sea. The fat guy from Northeast China who used a drone to record our trip to the sea (I don’t know what his name is, so I call him the fat guy from Northeast China, private Marseille😅) and Tom, the cute and clingy cat at the youth hostel! Many, many lovely friends, everyone is very nice, very nice We went out together, had dinner, danced, went to Meimen to drink coffee, surfed, went out to sea, snorkeled, and took a lot of photos hahahahahaha Many, many memories, crazy laughter, drunkenness, and the feeling of loss on the plane at this moment I think I might come back to stay at the back door once a year? If I come again next year, I will bring my other friends with me so that they can also experience the happy and unforgettable group activities. Although the souvenirs left by the island this time are tanned skin, bruised and swollen calves from surfing, injured fingers, and darker dark circles under my eyes, hahahahahahaha, but I am really happy! 👋🏻Goodbye, see you next year
